Lights to Report Status May be Added
For a local display of the condition of a sensor a light is installed on the body of the FFU. The light may be on the top, or sides, or bottom of the FFU.
A Green Power Indicator Light
A green light indicates that power has been supplied to the motor(s)
A Green Pressure Indicator Light(s)
The light(s), when lit indicate(s) that a normally open pressure switch has been closed by the presence of adequate pressure developed by the fan it is monitoring.
A Red Pressure Indicator Light(s)
The light(s), when lit indicate(s) that a normally closed switch has been closed due to a lack of pressure from the fan that it is monitoring.
External Light Box
To report the status of varying sensor(s) to a remote location a light(s) are installed in an external box, which the customer installs in a location on their tool or in the clean room close to the tool.
External Box with Magnahelic Gauge
To report the status of the differential pressure of the filter, and to aid in understanding when the filter will need to be changed, a magnahelic gauge is displayed in an external box, which the customer installs in a location on their tool or in the clean room close to the tool.
A Magnahelic Gauge Can be Installed in a Flush Mount External Box
To report the status of the differential pressure of the filter, and to aid in understanding when the filter will need to be changed, a magnahelic gauge is displayed on an external panel, which the customer installs flush mounted in a location on their tool or in the clean room close to the tool.
9-pin Connector to Carry the Signal From Various Sensors
To report status of the varying sensor(s) a 9-pin D-sub connector may be added at a customer specified location on the plenum that carries the status of the sensors. The customer then provides a mating connector to receive the signal.
